I sat down with Amber Tamblyn who is an author, actress, and director. She has been nominated for an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and an Independent Spirit Award for her work in film and TV. She cowrote and directed the critically acclaimed feature film Paint It Black. She's a contributing writer for The New York Times, a poet in residence at Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls, and a founding member of Time's Up. She's the author of three books of poetry including the best seller Dark Sparkler and the novel Any Man.
